We're excited to share that one more Apple Cabin (also known as Capsule House / Pod House) has just been loaded and is currently on its way to the seaport for export.
Why a Flat Rack Container?
This particular Apple Cabin features a wider floor plan and extended roofline that exceed the internal dimensions of a standard 20-foot or 40-foot dry container. Rather than compromising the product design or disassembling the unit (which would increase on-site labor and installation time), our logistics team opted for a 40-foot flat rack container — the industry-standard solution for out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo.
The flat rack's collapsible end walls allow the cabin to be loaded horizontally from the side using a mobile crane, while the open-top design easily accommodates the pod's overall height.
Professional Packaging & Secure Lashing
Before loading, the entire cabin was:
Wrapped in heavy-duty PE waterproof tarpaulin to shield against moisture, salt spray, and dust during ocean transit;
Covered with a protective safety net to prevent the tarpaulin from tearing in high winds;
Secured to the flat rack base using heavy-duty steel lashing straps crisscrossed at diagonal angles, ensuring zero movement even in rough sea conditions.
From Factory to Port — One-Step Solution

Factory yard: The red-and-white cabin being lifted onto a low-bed truck for inland transport to the port.
Terminal staging area: The packaged unit, firmly seated on the flat rack, awaiting vessel loading.
This end-to-end handling — crane loading, inland trucking, port drayage, flat rack booking, and lashing supervision — is fully managed by our in-house export team, so overseas customers receive the cabin ready to unload and install at their destination.
