September 23, 2026 — Factory Update
At our production base, every modular space capsule goes through a complete in-house assembly and inspection process before it ever sees a shipping container. The photos above show both sides of that process: a finished, walk-in cabin in our inspection showroom, and the carefully packed knock-down components waiting to be loaded.
The Finished Cabin: Inspection Before Disassembly
The first image shows a completed WORLDHOME-branded modular cabin sitting in our B-zone inspection area. Standing on a bed of artificial turf with its entry steps installed, the cabin is fully outfitted: aluminum exterior panels, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and a dark wood-grain accent wall.
Before a single panel is removed for packaging, our quality team runs through a full checklist:
All doors and windows open, close, and seal properly
Interior lighting, power outlets, and plumbing are functional
Exterior seams are watertight
The cabin sits level on its support feet
This means what ships to you is not an untested kit—it is a cabin that has already lived and breathed as a complete unit.
The Knock-Down Components: Packed for Global Shipping
The remaining images show how the cabin is prepared for export:
Curved wall and roof panels are fabricated on the factory floor, each one wrapped in protective film to prevent scratches during transit.
Aluminum structural frames are stacked and organized by component type, with all bolt holes pre-drilled and numbered.
Glass doors and window units are packed into reinforced wooden crates lined with fire-retardant plywood.
Corner modules, door panels, and interior fittings are individually wrapped and secured on steel packing racks, labeled for easy identification during on-site assembly.
Every component is numbered and cross-referenced with a shipping packing list. When the container arrives at your destination, your team can match each piece to the assembly manual without guesswork.
Why Full In-House Assembly Matters
Customers often ask why we bother fully assembling a cabin in the factory, only to take it apart for shipping. The answer is simple: a problem found on our factory floor costs almost nothing to fix. The same problem found on a construction site in Portugal or Australia can cost thousands.
By completing the fit-up before packing, we verify that:
Panels align as designed
The sealing system performs as intended
All pre-drilled holes line up
No component is missing before the container is sealed
What This Means for Your Project
Whether you receive your cabin as a finished unit on a flat-rack container or as a knock-down kit packed into standard 40HQ containers, you are receiving a product that has already been assembled, tested, and approved under our roof. The on-site team is not building a cabin from scratch—they are re-assembling a cabin we already built once.
This approach cuts on-site assembly time, reduces installation errors, and gives you confidence that the cabin you install will perform exactly as the one you inspected on our showroom floor.
